Nike has fallen a long way from when I first began with this company. There is no guidance and very little training which is sorely needed to perform job functions. Unless HR becomes involved, issues in-store are ignored by district management. Matrix is difficult to navigate and any strategic decisions are mostly based on politics instead of business needs and now with this pandemic we are hit with layoffs. Someone tell me - how much worse can it get?

Reminder Alert think about it: The same leaders who put the company and morale in the current state are the same leaders doing the reorg and leading the new structure. No Bias Training, No Diversity Training, No Management 101 will change things. Same leaders will dump their inabilities back onto hard working staff to grow profits. These leaders won't change morale, won't respect staff. They lacked that ability before, will be the same. Leaders All Puppets to the Shareholders, not care for morale.
Even if you didn't get laid off it's just going to continue to get worse the longer you stay there. I went through a couple of these and it never got better. I left and looking back, I'm sure you could have diagnosed me with PTSD after the two years I went through that.
Agree with @1euk. It has been sh– for a while but it is about to get bad....real bad. Oh, yeah....the holidays are around the corner too! What a time to get people laidoff. WOW....
@ptn. Yes.
Next few weeks will be a blood bath. Put your seatbelts on kids - sh– is about to get real!
Let's take a vote using the arrows on the left.
"Can it get worse?"
↑ YES: It's only been downhill since I joined. It can DEFINITELY get worse.
↓ NO: This'll pass. Better days ahead.
W/O 10/5
Yes it can and it will...the sh– is yet to hit the fan.
Just wait 2-3 weeks. You'll see.
