Plans to quit!

My mind has been made up. Either I find a job in the next few months or I am going to quit. I even have a date in mind. It's a good feeling. Very soon this place will be in the rear-view mirror.

The comments from this simp are hilarious. Why are you soooooo pressed that people aren't content with being spied on, having all workplace perks stripped, senior employees being fired for not wanting to move to expensive urban areas uprooting their lives or for not hitting a vague metric there isnt a true policy on? Like, you're taking this waaaaaaay personally, bud. So, why not introduce yourself already?

The best way to secure a new job is to have a job. Don't so something you may come to regret later

Become like Teflon. Let is roll off you. Don't care as much. Do what you have to in order to ensure you stay sane and well. Think of it just as it is. A paycheck. This place could care less about anyone, other than themselves.

Yes, you deserve better. You will get there.

This market is really terrible and only going to get worse with the oligarchy and ceos nowadays. There is a lot of uncontrolled greed taking control of all of the wealth and destroying us as the working class. Unless you're good to retire, I would not quit your job or bet on there being another any time soon. It has been bad increasingly now for 2 years. The media don't talk about it because they are part of the problem. Even raising stuff like that here on this site gets scrubbed because it's run by the same type of people. But it's a real problem.

I second the "don't quit without another job" advice. By all means, pour effort into securing something else, but if you quit without a new job lined up, your judgement about future employment opportunities will be far more clouded.

Please do not quit if you have a family to support (mortgage, car payment or credit card debt) unless you have a family support system to pay your bills.

Keep taking the paycheck.

If you can sustain your lifestyle with other means, by all of my good vibes, then quit.

But make sure you have a plan for your expenses now until you retire.
