I couldn't help but worry there would be more cuts today. I'm happy I was wrong.

That is the key point, for now. I worked for a company that did a huge layoff, then started putting individuals on performance plans after being given impossible metrics. Then they were gone. I am not happy I got laid off, but certainly feel for those that are left behind to work twice as hard. Prayer for all.
The WARN letter posted today 8/18 states that ALL impacted employees have been notified and have been given their termination dates as well. This is how we know the layoffs are done.
This round, anyway.
More cuts coming end of year. They'll keep the anvil over our heads so we work good and hard, don't worry.

Company officially announced 5000 layoffs. Unofficially, company let go by thousands each year. Some release and allowed to reapply or realign into different positions and other provided outplacement services. Bottomline is Layoffs are not over. All depends on the economy. Next year is the election year and things will start slowing down significantly.
