Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I could definitely get behind this

Posobiec’s post reads: “Tariff the foreign remote workers. All outsourcing should be tariffed. Countries must pay for the privilege of providing services remotely to the US the same way as goods. Apply across industries, leveled as necessary per country."

For the 1000000000000th time...

COUNTRIES DO NOT PAY THE TARIFFS you gd mo--n.

Intel will pay a tariff or the other company doing the outscouring. Also that is nearly impossible to track unless you add a tax to every busi ess with a foreing office. If this haooens it will make covid inflation look like the golden area. Stop being gullible

@nf Are you d-mb? In countries where the reg wage is $300-400 a month, that is a very respectable and sought after job. The problem is the small minded people like you who have probably never been outside of the country are clueless.

so your argument is that we should continue to exploit people overseas who have to work for substandard wages?

No. See, we put a tariff on overseas work but the American people pay it. So, it's the American people paying for the privilege of having a job at home.

@n4 of course it would... who do you think will own the US call centers. You must be a liberal... you don't think things through or make obtuse conclusions or both.

That would be awesome. But how will this get $ into the pockets of the dear leader and his congressional devout? If it doesn't do that, then it's a non-starter.

@kg d-mb a$$. It means someone outside of the US has access to all of your personal financial, medical, and other critical information. Stop with the random racist BS. Slavery was ended by white people confronting other white people.

This is exactly what needs to happen. All of the contract IT and call center work could and should easily be moved back to the US. This is a national security risk and should be closed.
