I thought that it was weird to get an email from her almost 2 weeks ahead of her starting date. I’m not sure what to think about it. Sounds to me that she already had a plan of actions and will not spend much time on getting to know her new team/kingdom. What do you think about this?

PGP comment is spot on! Who the frick deploys a system with so many defects it's takes you 8-9 releases to fix critical functionality e.g. email notifications not going to the people actually doing work on the platform?!
I digress. Back to Bridget's email. She needs a senior communications person immediately! At minimum get her Copilot. It's a sad day when a Tech Executive has doesn't know how to use the "editor" or grammar feature in Word.
She was told by Charlie what to do. Simple .
Am I the only one hoping I might get s reprieve from the layoffs while she settled in. A chance to save a few more bucks
The message is: I am coming. Get ready.
God forbid a woman being able to do something as well as if not better than a man.
Unfortunate, but sadly true.
Yeah, they could not replace TK with anybody by another female candidate. Otherwise, there would’ve been a lot of crying about unfairness.
What is PGP?
She's been in contact with folks for a while. You don't hire a head of tech from the outside w/out months of discussion. If I'm not mistaken, she had already transitioned her role to her replacement. So it's easy for her to dictate a message to the org with I'm excited to join-- there's a new sherrif in town, buckle up b*tches.
what's there to know? It's a dumpster fire and she has a fire hose.
