I could write a book on it.
Run the company like a business and not a social experiment where we have to appease, cow tow, lie and accept so much woke bullllllllshit.
QQW is right. Also, remove all the red tape. It was added long ago bc too many were told to run it like they own it and we ARE so siloed that they would wreck an upstream/downstream team. Make teams understand how it all comes together and remove the tape. It takes so long to do updates in some areas that teams just print it out and right the correct process all over a procedure. Its soo d-mb. We have marketers destroying assets before other assets are put in place. I had someone ask me to approve the most ridiculous things as a governance partner. They dont seem to understand if I dont want to see it, it means u have the authority to do the change on your own-without me. Everything is so complicated and at the same time you cant have the simplest thing updated/fixed. There are also a zillion systems and none of them work well. This one doesnt let you assign it to multiple ppl, this one only has space for one name, this system is where we track the tracker that tracks the things we are tracking so we can track more. Jeebus, please help us!
Get rid of the many layers of middle managers who are clogging up the system and the bureaucracy they bring about just to make themselves appear essential. Spans and layers was a bust!
@nsj+1dvs9369 Haven't you heard? Do you live under a rock! The stronger the DEI, the stronger the company! To h_ll with qualifications and competency. Gee, get a life will you already!!
- Focus on fixing the reg issues and consent order stuff --> that should hopefully deal with the asset cap.
- Get rid of a few more businesses that aren't really core
- get rid of 100's of outdated garbage IT systems.
- fix the absurd processes we have w/in the company.
Fire the board and the ELT. Bring in management that actually has new ideas rather than outdated Chicago School of Business thinking.
Drop DEI. Its a cancer.
It is important to drive for agnostic equity in the wotkplace, not this mess of affirmative action appointing people based on skin color and se.xual preference
Secondarily, you need to have clear vision linked to goals that can be supported
