Not true. Any layoff at UOP is not possible as it has great proprietary technologies that it’s crack managers are turning into cash. Highest margin business as well
@nm Most ones leaving been here 40 years or so at uop are getting paid until December starting the March 13th so be like 38weeks pay max..
@ex it should be 2-weeks pay for every year employeed. Most recently they extended 1-week pay / year employed… Most were under 5-years so knowledge of the 2-week/yr didn’t exist.

Probably all after spinoff is completed. They got rid of some people at our place. Gave them $2000 for every year they worked. Usually it’s only $1000 for every year you work..
Been secretly doing this for people I have restrictions at work. I don’t know if this is true, but I heard that they don’t write it up as a severance package. So you can collect unemployment, they want to make sure you don’t come back.
Seriously… open up the VRIF to the whole company, sign me up!
