Entire Agile CoE team was laid off yesterday. Thought Project STAR and layoffs were complete?

@4pse+1rKnmlMG I echo this comment. Terrible use of resources, most couldn’t do any job in bank above a teller.
Good riddance
Complete waste of resources!
teams need Agile coaches to right the ship
If your team can’t bother reading free books and web sites on Agile then they deserve their failure.
Some of the comments on this thread are disgusting. People lost their jobs! That group saves the bank thousands of dollars per person that they certify versus using a third party for training. Also, teams need Agile coaches to right the ship. I’d just met with them about issues on my team on Monday and their advice will get more help on our teams
If Truist is in your resume, you're not doing banking.
If agile is in your job title, you’re not doing agile.
If devops is in your job title, you’re not doing devops.
@nbo+1rKnmlMG The correct answer is ZERO. That is what managers are for. All these other people are noise and majority add no value. They inhibit people from doing what they are paid to do. They create noise and justify their existence, nothing more, nothing less. The latest fad that has cost money with no value added and leadership in general buys into this nonsense because some damn consulting group said this is needed. Ridiculous!!!
Hopefully this is the start of deflating the agile bubble. How many scrum masters, release train engineers, and agile coaches are required to tell the worker bees how to do their work?
Firing and hiring, it’s banking, they all do it. SunTruist just has a really bad culture and the hires find that out pretty quickly. Leadership and culture, this bank has neither.
“the layoffs are through the end of the 1st Quarter”
Will the Project STAR people be laid off on the last day of the quarter?
The layoffs will never end with these clowns.
It's 11 people...the layoffs are through the end of the 1st Quarter so there's a couple of more days of layoffs left
Well their agile, they should land on their feet!
How many people in that team/CoE? The scrum alliances surely milked corporate money with those cr-ppy certifications, fees and renewal charges.
Good. Does that mean I don't have to go to that stupid daily standup meeting anymore, and all that scrum and sprint planning B.S.?
What department is this? Are they contractors ?
