Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Catch-22

Instead of working on keeping current customers and adding new ones to AT&T TV, the management is determined to make up for losses by charging those who are staying more. Which in turn results in even more people deciding to leave. Which management makes up for by charging those who are still with us more. And then more people leave.

How dense our management needs to be to not see this pattern and actually try a different approach?

Um, Uverse is IPTV and unless a customer already had HSIA there has to be a cable to plug it into. Cord cutting is just a figure of speech.

They know what they doing, theory, T stopped selling Uverse TV To new customers but still have to maintain old customers, T is selling IPTV which is a drop ship, no tech, cable or technology expenses. so the idea if you remember POTS vs VoIP, is to make the old one so expensive and the new one so cheap that it only make sense for old customers to switch for the new one. T will be able to pull the plug on Uverse ones for all and save a lot of money in technology techs logistics...

It is because Ratty, Stinky and Board of MisDirectors and Pop'in Fresh have no new ideas. They are just financial engineers that dig themselves bigger holes. Problem is, eventually they run out of employees to wack. But no worries for them, they will pull the rip cords on their Golden Parachutes long before then and leave the mess to the bankruptcy receivership.
