If you are a manager with multiple employees who fail to complete their work, it is important to acknowledge that the responsibility lies with you, not with their lack of productivity. It is likely that you are an ineffective manager, possibly due to the influence of a weak manager above you.

I am your manager. If you don't do your job, it is my job to fire you. If you F with me, I will destroy you.
Ideally, managers are supposed to take care of the team, but in reality, many managers are bad managers who throw their staff under the bus. Especially WF managers are lazy dishonest narcissists who enjoy abusing their employees. Is that what you wanted to hear OP?
Let’s also talk about the multiple managers who manage by proxy by dumping their management tasks on their already busy subordinates.
You are wrong and OP is correct. As a manager you manage people. If they don’t do their work it’s on you as a manager.
As a manager it is my responsibility to write you up and fire you. So little accountability these days.
@mvu+1tcPYsZR No no no no. You have it all wrong. OP came here to commiserate and have their skewed mentals validated by like-minded victims. No one wants to hear your truth or facts.

Staff employees are "responsible" for completing their tasks and managers are "accountable" for the team's status/risks/issues. If you want to know more about the difference between accountable and responsible, Google it.
