Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Who is still working for Wells Fargo?

  1. Wells Fargo is currently being run by a group of executive-temps with no interest in the long-term health of the bank. Half of them are old- school out- of- date C-Suite execs looking to cash-in during their twilight years. Half are resume-builders, looking to build their expertise at the bank’s expense, and then move on to their next gig. All are pilfering the bank at the cost of employees, customers, communities, and long-term shareholders.
  1. Long-term experienced employees, near retirement age, who once took pride in their jobs but don’t trust the intentions of the new regime. They want out and are holding on for their one year severance packages.
  1. Experienced middle-aged employees, who stayed at Wells for too long and are concerned their skills will not easily transfer to other more modern-run businesses. These employees were loyal and hard-working, but are now vulnerable targets because they stayed at one company with out-dated technology and processes for too many years.
  1. Brand new employees who need the work and the benefits, but unfortunately, don’t know banking from Uber- driving. (Not their fault.)
  1. Impoverished employees working from third-world countries.

I smell tech. Your "current skills" seem to be limited to unquestioning devotion to demonstrably false statements and being rude to your coworkers, many of which do not fit in your poorly conceived categories. Or, according to you they really do fit in them, they are just too d-mb to understand them.

Been there 3 years and “getting 16 weeks every time you have a baby”. 😂

You fit into the “pilfering the company” category and “don’t know the difference between banking and Uber-driving” category. Your post unintentionally proves OPs point.

But good for you. Wells Fargo is getting exactly what they deserve so keep on keepin’ on.

Let’s spell it out for you, genius:

The people who haven’t quit working for WFC are either pilfering the company, hanging on for their severance, trying to get out, from a third-world country, or have nothing to bring to the table (you, obviously).

Do you get it, or do you need pictures?

I guess I’m category #6. 30ish years old, been here 3 years, learning a ton of skills that would transfer to a new employer if I ever leave, making way more money than my peers, getting 16 paid weeks off every time I have a baby.

Still a pretty great place to work for me.
