@lwz+16a92l2i - so "actively monitoring job applications from telecommuters" is something new? Yes everyone knows they take a chance at not permanently telecommuting when applying for a new position. How is this news? Why even bring it up?

I would hope they also monitor which manager has the highest number of applications into other areas - now that would be news.

The article is 100% accurate. in addition, human resources is actively monitoring job applications from telecommuters. thought you would be able to move around as a telecommuter. nope. good luck to you all.

This really isn't news. This message was handed down to us managers about two years ago. We were explicitly told no hiring in areas 0 or 1.
