Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Nine months of constant stress, 65% bonus and the low stock price@

Am I missing anything else?
The moral is so bad! Everyone is figure pointing to another person hoping to nominate another individual for next round of layoffs.
High performers are either let go or resigned and the workload remained to those lunch planner
Managers are in self preserving mode by throwing others under the bus or in the best scenario taking credit for other people's work!
What a mess!

Let's be honest, when a company performs poorly (for whatever reason) there should never be a bonus.

TBH, I am ecstatic about 65%

In 1 year we went from $109 to $76

Funny how Nike FTE and ETW start blaming everyone but themselves when stock crashes and bonus is 65% only.

JD needs to lead this company for another 5 years and completely remove all obnoxious in the berm people.

@neb+1tg5J16R... "They may be better suited being employed as a maintenance or food service worker"... Praying to God that I would not ever work with you at Nike! You seems very jealous and poisonous!

@neb+1tg5J16R I think you need to seek therapy. You are obviously very upset and hurt. Did you just try advising someone about professionalism and proper English by barking at a random anonymous post? So much for professionalism!
Some one can have a PhD in their area, be a non-native speaker and make mistake in English but they can be strong software engineers, making triple your salary! No they do not need to work as an office clerk or in food industry because they may not know proper English! They may be good at what they do and make a lot more than you! And don't forget how much work Nike has sent offshore!
BTW, your English is not that good when you are angry! Try copy pasting your message in chatgbt and see how many errors pop up! But seriously, go seek therapy if you can lash out to this extent for a random typo in an anonymous post!

@lvl+1tg5J16R "or get to work in a less challenging work environment".... The fact that you referred to working at Nike as a "challenging".... 😆 Not sure about your education level but Nike is NOT a challenging workplace! You can get away with 30 minutes of work and no one even notices! Relax. You are just upset about DEI.... A white dude is responsible for this mess not the DEI

"The moral is so bad! ...the workload remained to those lunch planner"

WTF
The word is, "morale"...and your "lunch planner" phrase doesn't even make sense.
Perhaps if you'd spend a bit more time and effort in learning "the basics" in English proficiency, your career would have more of a forward-motion trajectory. Is your speaking syntax just as nonsensical and grating in-person?

It doesn't matter if English is your 2nd language, or your formative schooling su-ked. Take the initiative to learn on your own, what wasn't properly taught to you by others. There are free vids online, so no excuse that you "can't afford" school. Go to the "school" of YT, for starters! Just because you struggle with communication doesn't mean others should be subjected to having to struggle to understand you. They're just going to choose to avoid you. Make the effort to make yourself understood coherently, or get to work in a less challenging work environment. You're here working in the USA for an American company. While outwardly they may be coerced via DEI mandates to "champion" your attempts to communicate, your co-workers and clients look down upon you for being illiterate. It's a poor reflection on the company, and quite frankly, a poor reflection on America as a whole, that we've allowed this country and its corporate culture to degenerate to pandering to incompetence, and applauding such a low bar of what's now deemed as acceptable, in terms of professionalism.

You want to be accepted as a professional in a professional working environment?
Then speak, write, and present yourself as a professional.
This isn't your Mommy's house, your therapist's office, or a cuddle puddle of your closest pals frolicking in a ball pit of Squishmallows.
This is a professional working environment in the real world.
You chose to be here, so take your pick: lead, follow, or get out of the way.
Your whiny, lameassed, sub-par way of expressing yourself isn't going to get you anywhere other than steamrolled.

Competent and genuinely talented people are sick of your sh-t.
Get it together, or GTFO.
The quality of life in corporate America just keeps sinking lower and lower.
How low can the USA go?
Its en masse professional brain-drain has resulted in being reduced to nothing more than a morass of regurgitated, unoriginal AI copycat spuge; with the remaining "personnel" being laid-off lamers and outsourced overseas schemers, scammers and monkey-brained buffoons.

Congrats, corporate America.
You've sold-out to the most corrupt and inept players on the planet.
