This is torture. Our medial director informed us yesterday that he has been given notice . More cuts to come . Cuts will be based on production. In our department the staff cheat with numbers . We have multiple staff that do nothing but have 30 contacts a day . So the numbers or production is incorrect. Management doesn’t care . How do I function with this hanging over my head ?

I got back in by both….applying for a job as an external, because I was gone, but also reached out to my prior manager to help internally
@lte+1iiJ1pRA — How did you get back in? Did you basically have to apply as if you were an external hire for a different role? Or was it more internal through a Humana HR rep?
SNP has always been the safest because of the Medicaid population reimbursement and Humanas focus on higher quadrant members.
SNP is hiring a lot of RN CMs. I can't remember the last time that area had layoffs.
Look for another job, at least you will have an option or opportunity
I am having physical manifestations of the stress and anxiety. I don’t know if I should look for another job or just keep going . The layoff notices will come out in late October is what we have have heard .
Report to the ethics line!!
I think Humana is a great place to work, but the constant stress of worrying about being laid off is too much!
I am so very sorry for your stress and anxiety. You deserve so much more. 💓 Start applying for new positions elsewhere and take control back. It will help you start to feel more grounded.
Also, if you can say, what area is going to be affected?
I am right there with you. I can’t sleep because I am so stressed out about the possibility of losing my job again. I went through this last time Humana let go of 800 people. I was on severance for a while and then was able to get back in. Other employers did not compare pay and benefit wise. That is why I wanted beck in.
