A group of us received our notice today. The entire meeting lasted less than five minutes with all of us on the call. You could tell they were reading from a script and sounded very robotic. Years of busting my bu-t, working long hours and receiving high annual reviews. Now I can relax, the sleepless nights and anxiety are over. I will be happier starting my own dog p-o cleaning business. BuhBye Uncle Bruce.

Maybe they are feeling very selfish and don't want to tell upi they just lost their income, their role in life, their kids college fees or even payments on a ratty little car. Have some common decency, stop being so vampirish. Consider yourself fortunate tjhat you have not yet recieved an email. If this is enough warning for you to get out of here, good for you. If you think you are safe and can now relax, you're a fool.
I don’t want to know specific teams but if it’s the marketing department or IT saying something like that is not gonna hurt anyone.
It’s one thing to tell a teammate, it’s another to post it on line, and there are still issues as the other poster said where you could be fired or lose severance. I doubt you’ll see specific team info, but maybe titles….and, on one hand, what difference does it make what department they are from right at this time? You didn’t get an email invitation to a meeting. You won’t know if your coworkers have been impacted until they tell you or we have an all staff meeting to update us, and even that will be general
But it’s not confidential information once you’ve been informed. So I don’t understand why people aren’t saying any more that “I got an email”. They can’t fire you for telling people you were let go. So d-mb

The sense of relief is overwhelming. Sure I need a job. I have bills to pay an family to feed but the wait is over. I wish all my fellow associates well. There will be a sticker on your lay off documents. A picture of BB saying "I did that".
Has anyone in the MRA dept been notified yet?

You have to read between the lines. Specifically re read the line a few times that begins with “long-term”. And don’t forget to check out his very last line.
Everyone is anxiously waiting. Each time i get and hear a email notification my stomach turns. Hope we hear something soon. This is painful for all.
