Just getting this warmed up

This never happened. No layoffs… only people stirring the p-t.
What difference does it make how it’s done? I had to listen to my sleazeball manager spout BS about how great my reputation was and how much I was appreciated. While not looking at my face.
I would have preferred an email.
@ldv where was this "disproven?" there were certainly layoffs today around me, not just one offs. really weird way to start the week.
I haven't seen proof either way. If you are saying it was disproven, how? If you're saying it's true, how do you know? All I can see are anecdotal evidence both ways. Is there any real proof?
This thread was disproven. Fake news as always. To punish people who are worried about their job is sick. Most of you people are nothing but a bunch of sadists.
I told you there would be layoffs today. But half the replies were wise.
Just the beginning - more to come in the death spiral.
I can tell you don't manage much, but imagine that you need to layoff 20 people, and you need to do so as near simultaneously as humanly possible and in a legal/policy compliant manner as well.
Do you really think a series twenty 1 on 1s is going to do that effectively? Some may consider a conference call to be an impersonal way of laying people off, but sometimes it's the only viable option.
@qef+1dhWGRAL Good luck with that. Recruiting and other HR functions are way behind and in some cases not even doing anything with applicants.
Where in Risk? They are short staffed in most groups. Hiring is months behind.
401k match denied.
Standby, someone will call you shortly
I am applying last few weeks for jobs here:

yet get no response; can someone plesse reaches me this week
wow InfoSec starting now
About time!
They started this off really early today, which makes me wonder if there is a lot more to come throughout the day.
Doing it though conference calls instead of manager one on ones is so spineless! This company is a joke.
