Matt Friend is NOT a nice person and you would not want him as a CEO. He’s built for finance.
We need Mark Parker back, or Eric Sprunk like it should have been

Me!
I'd spend actual time and effort figuring out what E band and above are just sitting at a desk.
I'd institute stock options for every FTE, not just E bands and above. Everyone should have skin in the game.
FLatten the org as we have too many GVP/VPs - decimate and incorp with SD to provide a sane org with the correct amount of underlings assigned.
Decimate the the C-suite and GVP/VP salaries and make most of their package performance based - hitting gross margins etc
Start f#$%ing innovating again and getting some really outstanding product on the shelves - instead of another dunk of AJ1 colorway.

On campus we live in a bubble that is not real. Start relating to the customer, and no the customers are not just the 0.0001% sneakerheads that would give a lung for the latest and greatest.

Heidi O'Neil has absolutely zero credibility to serve as CEO. As a leader, she has a poor record of developing people, making the tough calls, or taking risk of any kind. She's what I call a professional executive, who rises on the shoulders of others. No way she should be CEO. My vote? Bring back Elliot Hill.

Maybe the original architects of the Product/Mkt/Sales strategies they are currently resurrecting to save the company. Bring that team back. Anyone whose fingerprints are on the REORG of 2020 should be gone. A colossal failure. That basically takes HON and her Womens LT Alumni group out of the running. The companies that are winning now are using those same strategies to build their brands…many with former Nike leaders who had deep footwear expertise but were shoved out the door during the last reorg or ran out the door to be free of the eroding culture new leadership cultivated.

The poster has got to be joking with HON. She is a sham of a human being. The most manipulative, self serving, backstabbing individual at nike today in a role at that level.

How about we hire someone who is qualified regardless of skin color, gender or identify? The constant categorization is obnoxious.

Fire the entire ELT. Bring back MP, ES, EH until someone suitable can be found. Should be based on merit, not some bullsh-t DEI metric.

A woman. Finally but a woman of color please. Enough with the white man Nike company promoting white employees and men to high positions. No wonder Nike is terrible for females as a consumer and a workplace.
