Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

-Employee- survey results

Anyone know when we’re supposed to hear the “results” of the team member, uh I mean -employee- survey that was done in August?

I watch black managers specifically hire bl---s and minorities, no whites. IMO that is reverse racism and also not touched by anyone here at WF. Take a look at the recent AMEX lawsuit.

They'll publish high level results, point out the "opportunities for improvement" then put the onus on the departments and employees to improve morale.

The beatings will continue until morale improves

In my 15 plus years here, I've only seen limited sharing of these survey results twice.

They'll cheer over some favorable metrics, and then single out some nebulous "opportunity" for improvement.

At the end of the day, nothing changes.

In Tech they generally take a few questions they consider key and share the aggregate result against a benchmark from our peers and prior results. Things that are significantly below previous years and/or peers they make some contrite statement about needing to do work in these areas, maybe spin up some micro project but then not report on results or progress.

Next survey - wash, rinse, repeat.

harassment non-stop here; especially for minorities, even if there is a promotion the harassment only gets worse.

I heard the next goal is to get rid of people here longer than 5 years, to both meet the regulations and make the bank successful again.

Actually you have it all wrong. At WFC, we never actually complete an installation. We install and implement about 70% of the product, THEN we either stop as is or we send out an announcement that we’re moving to a new product and will cease all current implementation work.

@kzo The plan is to convert over to Survey Monkey once the Sign-up Genius implementation is complete. Ensuring that we have a tool to reserve seats at work is the priority right now as leadership prepare for RTO.

"we" never see the results. What we get is executive leaderships most management friendly spin they can take from it.

No way they let normal employees see the raw data.

They haven’t shared results in years. Apparently every year they are surprised by how bad it is and then do nothing to fix it.

The more critical question is when will Wells Fargo begin using Survey Monkey?

I didn’t even fill one out. I don’t believe they’re anonymous and I think my truthful scorched earth responses would’ve ensured my layoff. Yes, they’re taking out their aggressions on the rank and file but I can’t lose my job right now.

Unlikely that results would be shown when they scream leadership incompetence.

OP here..

I definitely don’t expect the actual results to be shared. Just the same old high level general statements and yada yada..

If it was bad across the board, I doubt we’d hear that. And if we did it would probably be accompanied with something like “we’re all feeling the impacts of the previous leadership and necessary changes to turn things around”, although that’s not the real root cause IMO. And some more “yada yada”.. “yada”!

Was just wondering if anyone knew of their timeline for my own reasons.

Leadership should be getting by end of this month (oc level) and usually gets trickled down by senior leader in the next few months once they’ve come up with their rationale on the bad responses

I bet they'll say that the results showed that there are a few "opportunities" in areas like career path and leadership clarity. Keep moving, nothing to see here.

I have worked for WF 6 years and I don’t know recall any surveys results being shared or changes implemented based on them. I know I have completed at least 3 employee surveys. Not sure this time will be any different.

No, I wouldn't recommend Wells Fargo to my friends and family. Highly agree.

It will turn up eventually but I'd have to say, who cares?

I never got the feeling that it was a survey that they were planning on sharing the results to. I’ll be shocked if they do.

I’d be surprised if they share the results with the rank and file. If people were as honest as I was, they should be horrified.
