I thought retail was dead. There are 10 new GM reqs posted today just in the southeast.

Honestly if you're 35 and still gunning for Verizon retail in these circumstances you've kind of failed at life.
@kti+193yfejQ No doubt Verizon has very discriminatory hiring practices. Rarely do you see anyone hired over the age of 35 in retail. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some sort of class action lawsuit regarding this.
They are finally filling the back fills. We have probably 50-100 acting gms. So now the role is open to fill it permanently. Hence the open job postings
Most of those that were fired were “ long in the tooth “. FACTS !
The GMs were not fired to eliminate the position but to hire new GMs at a lower salary and less commission %
