If we do have a meeting scheduled for today- does that for sure mean I’m being let go? Or could my role change as well? Just curious if a meeting today means for sure I’m being let go.

30 mins seems long for a layoff call. Mine was 15 and took 5.
@kor - maybe that was true for you. Mine had this title and I wasn’t laid off. But today is said to be an exit day, so regardless of title that might be the outcome.
That is sh-t they’re making some of you wait until this afternoon , I’m sorry for that truly. I knew mine was coming .

@kbt No it’s the title of all the meetings because we’re all going through the org transformation, not just people who are getting laid off.
Is org transformation a coded way to say “you’re laid off”?

Monday is supposed to be an exit day. Prepare yourself for an exit and maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised if something else happens.
For Phase 1 - Fridays and Mondays were let go days. Tuesdays were partial let go, partial re-org/demotion/promotion etc.
For Phase 2, We already know Fridays were demotion days, so, likely Monday will be let go. But there is no way to tell.
Assume the worst, and start preparing your next steps. That might be easier for you.
My understanding is the earlier in the week the worse chance you have at staying on.

My meeting is this afternoon.
In my group for Phase 1 everyone got an invite, the ones in the morning were the folks who got let go … afternoon just an inform about org changes. And yes, some folks got title changes in the afternoon meetings. Your results may vary!
