Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Downtown DSM. RTO failed

There are less people in today than a month ago.

How about others?

OP here; I grinded out the week. As expected, ghost town today. No more RTO for me.
Hey Chuckie, you'll need to performance management me out and you better have the disciplinary evidence you are treating everyone equally.

And

This is untrue. This information exists but is not being given out or used in any way currently. It requires HR approval on a case by case basis each time it’s given out - to anyone. Same goes for IP or location reports, login reports, etc. While it certainly can be pulled in the event of a lawsuit it would not be approved on a mass basis nor would it be approved on an ongoing basis.

oh yes, it can get distributed to OC+3 but that's at managerial discretion

And yes, indeed, right now it is mostly the summarized reports but they most definitely have it person by person. They had that two years prior to the pandemic - nothing new.

@1seb+1g5BA6PK I don’t know anything about OC+1 and OC+2, but I know in my org that the (OC+3) gets badge reports with how many times each person badged in that week.

Wednesday maybe 30%, today back to Monday. I'm sure Friday will be a ghost town. I won't be back in next week.
Only doing this week for first hand documentation that may be needed for future actions.

Count me in that group. If you want to collaborate, it will be over Teams or Skype or phone. I haven't spoken to more than maybe 4 people since having to report back to the office. I sit in my cube and try to do whatever work I can, go home, then make up my lost productivity from home the next day. The network disconnections are getting a little tiresome.

People are going out of their way to not talk to each other. I’ve yet to have any collaboration conversations and haven’t even had a discussion on sports.

I bought expired candy from a vending machine at the Minneapolis HMMC last week. The Cheetos I also bought expire in a few months. lol

There have been six employees on my floor max the few times I have been in. my hotel cube section had just two. Very quiet and depressing.

April 5 update, downtown DSM about the same as yesterday. MAYBE a few more. No water cooler collaborations.

Turning into a tragic comedy.

@1mts+1g5BA6PK and @1seb+1g5BA6PK

While it does give a high view of the total population of people badging in, it does not list specific users or badges in any way. And it is OC and MC (oc+1) only.

badge report gets distributed to OC+1 or OC +2 level

shows in aggregate what percentage of population has come in 3+ days, 1-2 days, 0 days per week.

right now monitoring and encouraging people. eventually... who knows.

We're hearing badge swipe numbers are visible on something called The Executive Dashboard. Evidently there was some big project for that a while back.

Also heard an offhand remark about this where somebody said "they're not even looking at it". The person was angry that they'd done a lot of work on this "Executive Dashboard" and it wasn't being used by the executives.

How they know that is beyond me. Maybe the web people can see how many people are hitting their websites or something.

So the information is out there. But it's not being used for whatever reason.

It feels like there has been some employee turnover that is impacting managements ability (or desire?) to do things that they otherwise would. You don't kick a dog that's going to bite you back kind of thing.

today, Operations was supposed to come into the office, but there wasn't anyone that showed up, at least on our floor and the guys that help with boxes didn't have anyone ask them for help.

Multi-level Manager here, no badge reports received. Wait til end of next month when most teams (excepting Call Centers) are scheduled to have been back.

About 20% of the workforce has at least shown up once in the office as of a week ago. Curious how that trends out.

Very sparse in Charlotte (both at CIC and uptown). Am hearing that leadership is receiving weekly badge reports but does anyone know what those reports even show? And if the managers are being instructed to do anything with that data?

Not sure where DSM is, but in Mpls in Downtown East, it’s still real sparsely populated.

Nothing says collaboration, efficiency, and RTO success like watercooler discussions about amateur sports.

More and more people in my building each week. I collaborated like no other talking about the Duke/UNC game. Holy cow. What a barnburner! A game for the ages!

Waste of my time, money, and productivity. Never mind the health and safety factors due to stress and commute dangers.

Here too in AZ. The IT support guys are letting the vendors do the work at one building. They come in to check on them in the morning and usually leave the vendors by themselves to do everything by lunch time. A few other areas are doing it too - I heard the vendors talking about it in the office supply room.

Following for Charlotte comments. Haven't been in since the first week. Curious if this week really is badge swipe counting week 1.

Same. It hasn’t grown at all here on my floor in Minneapolis. Same handful of people that come in for an hour or two, then leave before lunch.
