Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

That was a Sales Rally?!?

Listening to Kosuda who was reading a freaking script when intro’ing ML and the entire meeting. Didn’t know a single number. Clearly has zero idea on the business we do. What would he say if we took him to meet a client?! Think about THAT and then decide as a client facing person you stay?! Gibbons, his SLT, no product innovation. What do you sell now? We at our level do all the work solo and then take a beating every day to engage “senior leaders “. Ummmm, no thanks- Bye Bye!

@k9 do you know what is I-Light Group? I can't even find any information on this thing online. nor does it seem it's acquired or something. His LinkedIn description is very vague.

Frank sold light bulbs before this. He was friends with FB. Takis was banking in his career. There is a difference. perhaps if Frank was in facilities I could make the connection better.

No - Takis spent his whole career in our industry and more than earned the seat he was hired into - he like anyone else will need to perform to keep it but under any objective metrics Fk did not earn th seat under any objective assessment.

Based on your logic, Takis or any of the MC that were brought in should not have been given the seat. Heard FK was the leader that fought for our comp plan changes- for the better, plus incentive increases- which I didn’t get an increase for 5 years. Give the guy a chance and go sell. This place is a mess since the merger and needs time.

Whether he is a good guy or not doesn't really matter to me. My concern was that he didn't earn his spot on the MC. When you compromise the standards for promotions at the most senior level you have totally undermined the integrity of a meritocracy.

We better hope he succeeds and stays. He wasn’t brought in for his industry knowledge. I see benefits already in his leadership. Feeling better about the place.

Needs time. Smart guy. Good leader. He’ll continue to be better under ML than FB. Lots to fix.

He has no business being the chief sales officer. Has no idea about business.

Gibson is getting trashed everywhere. I like Kasuda’s message. Heard him also on a fireside chat and during a training. Seems genuine and sincere. BUT do we really need a Sales Rally? To many internal meetings. I need to get my client visits up! :)
I like the destination Fiserv idea. Hope Kasuda puts his money where his mouth is. Otherwise the exodus will continue. Need change.

Disagree, thought the messaging was on point and what our people needed to hear. Maybe a little too much messaging. Think Chris F went over numbers not Kosuda.
Gibbons on the other hand.
