now that were heading to end of january and februrary, can we make a thread sharing what we know or should expect if there's another round? the last one had a lot more noise so maybe that was the big one??

@184 what does a field team look like in that pyramid. I’m hearing there may be major changes to store field teams and organization of stores by group and district.
I’m supposed to receive confirmation of plan for my field team in supply chain in the next week. Exact timing has been shifting a little (probably to align with Fiddelke’s first week). But it does look like some cuts are coming—whether it is just closing open roles or not backfilling certain positions or something larger.
@k2 Look, Greg. No one cares what you're wearing under your trenchcoat but you seem awfully fixated on certain things. You probably shouldn't be posting this from your DHS computer.
Well fingers crossed they lay me off next.
10% cost cut per department, how they do it is up to lead.
Back to back big layoffs are spooky to shareholders so I would bet on more precise actions impacting dozens or a couple hundred rather than a sweeping one like what we saw last year
Supposedly Amazon is laying off another 14,000 next week. Maybe there will be some alignment. The 90 day period from their Oct layoffs expires Monday, which is why some are predicting next round is coming. Just speculation - not specific Target news.
@cc supply chain and fulfillment??
@ad Would you mind telling us what GSCL and FC are for those who don't know the acronyms?
There’s quite a bit in this thread around GSCL and FC layoffs being the next big target.
