Winner circle is being cancelled due to concerns over coronavirus! Those of us who made it should get an email shortly with a dollar value in lieu of the weekend.
I’m sure Verizon will be saving a good amount in travel and hotels... and yet they say coronavirus isn’t distributing business lol
Funny how they can use the coronavirus when it benefits them yet can’t adjust quota when we don’t have inventory to sell.
The WC event has always been just a 1night two day event and only breakfast included on departure day. The hotel stay is booked at a corporate rate and is usually 200-400 per night depending on location and venue..never 600. In any case I would rather take 2k over a 2 day trip in which they shove food and alcohol down your throat in a 5 hour period. When will we get our crystal award though?
Hahahaha... $2k and no paid time off...rounds up like this.... let’s say the rep makes $18 x 8hrs x 3 days of winner circle...$432... now let’s deduct the $432 off the $2k winner circle winner will receive... $1568... just simple math.. they definitely saved a good amount by handing the money... winner circle hotel $600 plane ticket $300 food $150 per day x 3 $450 total... attractions $200...all that x 2 for the guest that winner circle brought with them...

You are either an id–t or a troll. Verizon will probably lose money on this as expense and deposits have already been made. This is the right decision, keep people safe and don't make them choose between the recognition and keeping themselves and loved ones safe. You would complain either way, if the events happened you would say the company is putting people in harm's way to avoid losing a deposit. Stop berating people who are just trying to make decisions to keep people safe.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit. Went to the last 4 Winners Circles. It was cool, but not all that. Each year was cheaper and more WTF.
So glad I left that joke of a company last year.
