Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Quit! I did and it feels great!

I was at Wells Fargo for close to 20 years. I was nervous about leaving but incredibly unhappy at Wells. I wasn’t sure what to expect elsewhere, but I recently started at another company and I have to say… just quit. It’s the best decision you’ll ever make. Not every company is like this, thankfully. Get an employer who at least treats you like a human being.

Quitting WF was the best thing I’ve ever done. I’m making less money, but I’m happier and sleep at night. Worth the price of my soul.

After 22 years, I'm thinking of taking a leave of absence to regroup. Im really struggling with my role in shared service because of constant change, trying to justify our existence and over lap of duties.
Still waiting on the lottery before I just quit

WF is the worst company I have ever worked for. I can honestly say that. I have worked at many other companies. I am riding the wave now and just hoping I can water the grass enough to make it a little green until I depart. :-)

Not everyone can just quit. But good for you.

@jnx. So your solution is to stay and suffer through chaos so we can stick it to a super rich elitist?

Good plan...

I'm not sure if other companies are all that different unless it's a small privately owned company. I've worked for four other corporations and they are all essentially the same.

Yes, Chuckie says Just Quit it makes me rich. More stonk options, less severance.

So encouraging to hear! I’m 19 years in and revamping my resume this week. It’s time!
