This is just the company and the union getting together, something more casual than official negotiations. If anything’s negotiated during this time period, it’s something that both sides are in obvious agreement on so don’t expect a major announcement.

@jn, you still seething that there's WFH? Hahahahahahaha
4 year extension and get me the F out of here ......... Please !!!!!
I wish like Boeing, but it’s probably more like att
Take a look at Boeing’s recent contract…. I want this….
How about RTO? WFH is only giving the slackers a place to hide. Who ever doesn’t wanna return lay them off? You were hired to Benin the office, if WFH is a thing now , then I would expect pay to be different.
If the unions strike could VZ use the HCL team to work certain functions? Or hire others on a contract basis?
get better raises, cola, better medical options ,i dont think the union will do anything and just take it where the sun dont shine.like they have been since 2010
VP from 1101 is a total downer and has nothing nice to say about anyone. She came to my office and encouraged trash to go after people who questioned her about new hires. She’s horribly anti-union.
When a company and union say they’re meeting “informally,” it’s code for:
• We’re testing limits without committing.
• We want to say we’re ‘talking’ without actually negotiating.
• We’re buying time or trying to manage headlines.
Don’t expect real concessions. If anything gets agreed on, it’s a breadcrumb—not a breakthrough.
If you’re tracking workforce moves, this is just the quiet hum before the layoff storm—or the PR smoke before another fire sale. Either way, don’t be fooled by choreography.
My business agent say they working on extra vacation and Juneteenth. I want more vacation and pay.
A large portion of membership just wants an easy extension also, they have the end in sight .
Everything seems to be going well. Looks like the company wants another easy extension and is willing to listen. Keep you updated as things go on.
