The official WARN notification was just posted this morning for the 10/03/2023 layoffs. Per usual, it was a small amount of layoffs across two sites:
Des Moines - 801 Walnut St - 1
West Des Moines - 800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy - 34

That's not true. If you are relieved of your duties for any reason other than Termination, you will count towards the WARN notification. Assume if someone is getting severance then they will appear in the counts.
The numbers reported are only those laid off. If you are let go by being replaced by others (overseas), by definition you are considered discharged.
I was one of the 34 on 10/3. Writing was on the wall but was suprised how small the overall layoff was relative to what I was hearing.
Those numbers should have been a lot higher.
