We were recently notified that marketing and customer communications is now being combined in the most recent reorg. This was on 8/28/2020.
Has anyone heard if more layoffs are coming to these departments in September 2020?

Concerning they don't follow downsizing policies. My notification letter says you had no peers hence performance or capabilities were not considered (but age) which is an inaccurate statement as were 5 reporting under the same Manager. One peer who got impacted and had no accomplishment to date was moved to another team at same pay same grade while I who was enabling him perform his role got axed. Manager wouldn't even give recommendations for internal position when requested- what should I make of this? Discrimination or favoritism, or both?
There were 10 of us let go in Optum Corporate marketing yesterday 9/24/2020.
There werE more layoffs on 9/10
They told us that too and I was laid off from Optum in June. Don't believe anything they say. they will also say that since you're not getting laid off due to coconut that you're not filming the tokens pay That's a crock if you get laid off during to open for any reason you're eligible. I found that out myself.
