The one topic that gets everyone nodding along is how much we'd all rather be somewhere else. We don't bond over the mission or the culture or the work. We bond over wanting to escape it. There's something deeply ironic about that. A whole workforce united by the shared goal of not being part of the workforce. Great job, BofA.

@OP Not Great Job BofA but poor job by you and others. You create the culture but you are to lazy and entitled to realize it. Be the Change you want.
@k1 my 2 cents
"Priority should be given to the American people. BofA does not need offshore or H1B Visas. PERIOD."
- Unfortunately, this is not how senior leaders think. they will look into who is competitive with less pay so that they can pocket extra money/bonus.etc
"There is definitely a change in BofA's culture. And the direction is not positive."
- 100%
@jh Fire the CEO is not the solution, just a band aid.
Priority should be given to the American people. BofA does not need offshore or H1B Visas. PERIOD. If anyone objects to this post, then that person is not an American citizen. Everyday, we have to endure the threat of layoffs and now elimination of WFH. My raise does not cover the increase of coffee brewed at the house. Ridiculous RSUs which are distributed as part of PR. I can imagine an update in the wellness program having points for every time we are physically in the office.
There is definitely a change in BofA's culture. And the direction is not positive.
@j5 "it is a problem that offshore and H1B options are used by BOA as cost cutting measures at our expense"
WHAT!!! FIRE YOUR CEO
@g8 If you have to rely on your race as a crutch to your success, then this is wrong. DEI is that crutch. As most of us know at BOA, success is not measured by our merit but by who you know and DEI. As for the comment made by @an, it is a problem that offshore and H1B options are used by BOA as cost cutting measures at our expense. At times, I wonder if I do work at Bank of "America".
@g8 DEI is racist
@fk do you work for bank because if so i'd be more worried about you and your racism than any other bank policy
@fk why Native Americans?
@an DEI for the Plano Campus campus means hire Indians.
PAY ME!!! It’s that simple. Record profits quarter over quarter over quarter over quar….. yet, “pool is down” has been the answer for 7 years now and counting!!!
My base, brings me to the office. Incentive motives me to be a profit contributor. Take that away, and all I’ll do is babysit the deals already done, and couldn’t care less if we ever win another one again. I spotted two problems in the last two we chased, knew we would lose because of them, and said nothing. Lost both to better platforms who pay their people correctly and know the business far better. Everyone was downcast, but me. Couldn’t care less.
: ) I will submit my 2 week notice on March 17th
can not wait about it anymore lol
@ah wait wait wait….you LIKE DEI ???
This bank promotes some of the most unqualified managers I have ever seen . Many of these people have no leadership skills and are very unprofessional. I like DEI but got damn just don't put any mo--n in a position.
You can thank the new class of managers that have been put in their positions with no leadership experience or training, immature and arrogant dispositions, lack of communication skills, lack of understanding how to manage a team and focused only on how to advance in their careers and ignoring how you can advance yours.
