Ya, and TL wants to make sure you feel good about yourself while sc--wing real performers in the back.
Same with the Consumer org, what does CF and KZ do all day but look embarrassed?
@jy I know which group you were with. Would love to know how you got out of that hot mess. FP&A; what a waste of time and money.
@jy but you are describing ALL of FP&A. Everybody is making $150K or more and the only planning they do is how to analyze financial analysis to the point that no one wants to see another presentation with numbers on it from FP&A. They make HR look critical to operations.
I worked in an FP&A group that scrambled to dice and slice 2 day old numbers that had already been diced and sliced and presented to decision makers who would always wonder, "So why are you sending me this report again?" "Is there something I need to do with this?" Mindless managerial accounting. None of it was essential to bringing in money or reducing any unnecessary expenses. WE were the unnecessary expense! Still is!
Yeah, it’s called any team with “Strategy” in its name
@j3 I legit lol’d out loud seeing this. Finance is wild.
Work in FP&A in basking ridge I assume?
Put your head down. Pretend like you care. Cash that check and exit on the next VSP. This is the winning strategy for most current employees.
Work that you know goes nowhere over and over and over again.
Not me! I work for 10 fat layers over me.. They take my work and present it everywhere
Yes, I'm management.

Call. Center representatives, they will all be gone by next contract. They thought it was a gift to WFH, but actually it was a way to get them out.
Have multiple kids with different baby mothers and child support. You come to work everyday and work like your on coke. Works for me!
