Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Verizon R2B worse decision!

Long time in the company worked my way up to sm. Helped in so many stores to try and move up to GM and many a difference, didn’t kiss enough a-s and do volunteer when asked. Burnt out by the customers and upper management micro managing by the Dm. Putting the GM chores on my back because some are lazy. To decide to move to R2B... smh what a mistake. The targets are almost 2/3 of the stores quota. No consideration for traffic or the fact customer don’t want all the extra cr-p just cheap and reliable service. On top
Of it we have to push one talk and blue jeans probably the worse solutions just like hum. The way the targets are set no one is getting paid. Not even the “top” performers. I think they do this to start this p.I.p process and get me out the door. This might be end of the horrible life I lived in Verizon. Hopefully they change that...

I’m not sure about all these prior comments, but as an R2b rep, this job has gone downhill crazy fast. Quotas unattainable, work like balance is impossible and upwards mobility is just not a thing anymore

As a former field tech, I will tell you that whoever comes up with the quotas or numbers that are not favorable to you, has never done the job, and don’t care about the reasons you can’t make those numbers. They will not adjust any numbers because you don’t get the traffic you would like. It’s cheaper for them to make the numbers unachievable and let your go, then to adjust and keep you. They don’t care if you stay or go. They will find some college kid who is looking for their first big job or someone who has been out of work for a while and is desperate for a job.

Lol thanks for correcting me you square... your so tough. Do quality work? lol your a joke. Probably GM or dm, because only you believe that. I have had winners circle multiple times both as a leader and sales rep. You probably never hit a multiplier a day in your life. Stop hating on the next person for having an opinion. I know for a fact you do what your told without questioning it. Because that’s what pu----s do. I bet you that if we were face to face you would not be running your mouth like that.

You complain a lot. Maybe less whining and more attention to quality work, rather than blaming outside forces beyond your control, might make you more successful.
btw, it’s “worst” and “somewhere”. Pay attention to detail, and do a quality job. It moves you up faster than whining like a baby having a temper tantrum.

lol you Must not have read what was posted hater. I said I worked hard to move up. Most in the last few years that have moved up HAS FOR A FACT DONE SOME FORM OF KISS A-S whether they want to admit it or not. I have not which is why I haven’t moved up. You must be some where low in the company to have said to suck it up. I’m no ant like you. I’m simply stating quota needs to be adjusted so that we can somewhat make our target at least and not get fired.
