Are people being let go in person or zoom?

I received a org touch base for 2pm…
That doesnt make any sense, you have a zoom and then after the zoom you are let go, then your what?
This is how the past ones went but because everyone knows it’s today the larger meetings won’t happen
Zoom I think. Haven’t heard of anyone let go in person during phase-1 or phase-2 so far.
Got an “org transformation touch base” from my Sr. Director. When I logged into the Zoom call there was an HR person there too. Needless to say I was let go

I received a meeting invite with my VP for 11:30 today. Labors Org transformation Touchbase. I’m the only one to receive one from my team that I know of. I’m freaking out a little and stomach is in knots.
Typically you will get a meeting invite for an Org meeting. During that meeting, you will be informed that individuals are being let go and everyone is receiving a meeting invite with HR and their Direct Manager or skip-level. What actually happens is that those who see a meeting invite come through almost directly after that meeting ends will be laid off. It is performed as early as possible and typically just a 15-minute invite. St the end of the day, they regroup with everyone left to notify them they are safe.
