Remember??? POWER IN NUMBERS

Does everyone remember a few years ago when we had like 10-30 Verizon Fios people protesting in front of nearly all of our wireless corporate stores?

They got what they wanted.

After team commission, we’re not even being paid a “living wage” anymore . All of our hard work at the beginning of the month is trumped by a few bad surveys at the end of the month and I’m sick of it.

Idgaf about unionizing. Can’t we all just ban together and do what the hardline employees did? I know the kool-aid DRANKIN employees would probably b***h up and not want to, but what would it take to get all the soldiers on the frontline to ban together?

Verizon use to be sales. Now it’s clerking and THEY made it like that, not us.

We need:
RELIABLE SYSTEMS
Better LEADERSHIP
Better PAY
Better Support
Better Training

No argument. It's the truth. No matter what degree you had or have they are now paying retail like the majority of retail. You now get paid like Best Buy, Target and Walmart ,who all do your job currently. Any kid can explain and fix problems like Verizon people now. You are a dime a dozen employee to them. Get out and reinvent yourself. If youre waiting for the old times to come back, its not. Pay will not come back.

The arguement that verizon decided to pay retail like they deserve is bunk for many reasons. First a lot of the OGs had or have degree either pre verizon or prior. When I started they wouldn't even look at your resume unless you had a 4 year. Second, Tmobile, att and xfinity also still pay individual commissions with essentially no cap with basically the same benefits and everything. So sorry for your hate of the front line but they made this company.

Hate to tell you but Verizon finally decided to pay retail and treat retail like everyone else does. You will never make more again. They aligned themselves with the future of wireless and are quickly off loading risk (corporate stores and inflated pay). Losing battle. You work in retail. Old Navy, Dollar General, Target, Best Buy, Walmart. All the same now.

Quit. There are jobs everywhere.

You have got to kidding about the “living wage”. You have benefits, retirement, working in a clean environment, etc. Even at team commissions, I don’t see anyone starving . It is a retail job! It’s not true sales. You are not selling advance solutions or true software. You are not selling medical devices or pharma. You slang IPhones which can literally be purchased on an app. You were waiting for next person to come in a re-rate their account and add some stuff. What you are doing is no difference than what Best Buy and the mall retail is doing. Get out of here with this living wage non sense.
