Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Thanks!

Team, I was in the 10 am call with about 400 folks to only hear “move or separate”. After 20 years at Fiserv, not even a decency to approach me separately, and also to call the move a journey! A slap 👋 on the face.

After one call to my C suite guy, I just secured a 1 year contract this afternoon with a major bank and submitted my resignation. I am a very patient person, but enough is enough.

Thank you for an amazing 20 years MINUS the the time Frank taking over. I will remain ethical to the last day, I am not going to waste your money or your time, and accept your timeshare sales pitch and fly to the location and visit. Best of luck!

Most cores impacted except premier, which was formerly ITI. Some credit union cores were spared for the time being

Sadly, I don't think there's anything "illegal" about these moves. It's not a crime to be boneheaded. The writing has been on the wall for some time now...even with "astronauts" losing their protected status as remote. Outside of making a self-determined decision to leave, FB holds all the cards, kids. It's disheartening, aggravating, but true. Those who don't leave (or move) may get some retention offers to keep lights running, but then FB will control that too--and if too many people stay, you can be assured there's another sc--w to turn or shoe to drop. If net attrition is too fast, the company may sweeten some deals or provide velvet handcuffs, but be smart and dispassionate about any decisions. If you are not in Omaha or Alpharetta or BH, I'd have a plan B (C and D) in mind. I don't think anyone seriously thinks Lincoln or Milwaukee will be central locations in another couple years. It's just FB's big ol' ant farm. What a pitiful, pitiful excuse for a human being.

How many total meetings were there where remote employees were told that they either need to move on-site or will be let go? I was on such a meeting at 1PM CST.

The 10 am call was premier. People who were told they were astronauts are included and told to move or leave.

I’ve been here for 15 years, unfortunately this is the Fiserv way. Im going to miss my team the most. It was mostly DNA folks in my call of 400.

What core? Primarily DNA?

The 2pm ET call was the same thing. My manager didn’t even know which call I was invited too! Over 400 invites on the call.

They aren’t giving dates, just “work with your manager” but managers are being blindsided with employee names this morning and have absolutely no information.

How long did they give people to make a decision?
