@hs Well, you know these are the exact type of snakes BK inspired to be as such be his famous "hotshot" (comment) campaign. Those who were in EMIT would be able to relate to the "hotshot" campaign by BK.

Be aware of Snakes sitting around and next to you. They may seem harmless until they are not. Which other snakes have you all encountered? I mean, EMHC is a large campus, there outta be other poisonous snakes around ready to bite.

I have know BD personally and he's one of the kindest and helpful souls but also the one who calls out wrong as "wrong". I rarely ever visit thelayoff but just happened upon the LI post being discussed. I came here to post nearly the exact same thing as OP. BD is an incredible person who left XOM voluntarily and for the right reason. The fact that these disgusting individuals would make such blatant comments to someone is the true temperature of XOM. The most efficient way tj get ahead is to bring others down to make it seem as though you yourself are raised up.

I actually know this individual at least somewhat and I’ve always thought he was a nice guy. This is really sad to see. I read that post and thought, wow, that’s terrible. I hope someone talks to him about this. Honestly, active employees, should just keep our mouths shut on these kinds of threads. Realistically everyone here has traded a piece of their soul to stay in the game. No one of is 100% innocent, because the game itself is not at all fair. It’s not about merit; it’s about luck and being in the right place at the right time. Some people mistake this for superiority. They think they’re still around because they’re exceptional. They’re not. They’re just fortunate or maybe even unfortunate depending on you perspective.. Also, imo, Darren Woods isn’t a good leader. Rex was decent, and Lee was the best.

Wow! If this post is not a real eye opener than I dont know what is. This shows clearly that at work no one has your best interest but when the time comes everyone will jump on an opportunity to manipulate you and benefit from your vulnerability. Do your work, collect cash, and go home to your family. There is not work family nor work friends. If anything they might be opportunist waiting to benefit and claim victory from your downfall. @bj @bj Yes, 100%. There are so many at XOM like those two who commented. It definitely shows their charcacter and represents XOMs. They know how XOM is and still decided to jump in and comment like a Czar for XOM defending the XOM, DW, and his puppets. Forget about helping others but we will surely strip others of their dignity and respect. And by the way we have no interest in understanding your perspective because we are superior than you because we are still employed at XOM and you are not. It is people like these guys who have helped DW like psychopath to drive the company in the state it is. Shamless, arrogant, and entitled ba----ds. How they do sleep at night and what achievements would they be sharing at home with their families about doing sh-t like this to others?

One of the linkedin comment is exactly why people stay silent. Mocking someone who left the company (facing now a very difficult situation) is cruel. Sometimes it's better not to comment at all. This shows absolutely no alignment with WEAM values or behavior.

Reminded me of DW sharing the story of how he was blunt and brutal to the employee. And she came back to thank him? DW is useless… just lucky oil prices are back high.

Sponsored boot licking HiPos. I know the technology guy who commented on DW not being perfect and MC making hard decision. I have known this technology guy for sometime and he is a bluffer. No real tech skill or real contributions to XOM. He is one of the cofounders of a TedTalk copied EMtalks and keeps riding on it rather than making any meaningful contributions but rather pullingpeople like the LI poster down. I wish and truly pray that he himself ends up in a PIP one day and then want him to come to the table commenting.

I bet you, the referenced snakes haven't contributed much to the XOM and rather relied on brow nosing and kool-aid drinking. If you look at their other posts you can tell they are superficial, with 0 technical skills and the best they can do to survive is by putting real people down like they did to the LI poster.
