Just spoke to my director who is a good friend and told me to keep it quiet that an enhanced eisp is coming out in early February. Will be across the board and need to lose 2500 employees. Don’t know off the books date. I know I’m going and already have an appointment with my financial advisor. Between my 401k and lump sum I’m close to 3 million so it’s a no brained.

EISP is to thin ranks before folding in the Frontier union folks which is a staggeringly large number, just ask any VLC member.
I also heard from my grandmas friend that her son is a director and said that they are going to offer a super duper mega po---r eisp to everyone even the cleaning lady .So I was like well if that’s what was said must be true.So i quickly made my appointment with my financial guy to make sure I could be the rush of all the other people who are taking it I mean imagine like 500,000$ bonus ontop of your lump it’s crazy

I got my offer today, I’m a splicer in Pa. It’s the enhanced offer. It’s tempting but I am too close to 30 years and I really do nothing all day but pad my time.
Confirmed . It’s a first of its kind , called a super mega EISP .
My first level told me today that the offers are going out tomorrow to every department except storekeepers.

So your director is a good friend of yours who told you something in confidence and told you not to tell anyone and the first thing you do is post it? Well if your good friend can’t trust you why should this anonymous group of people trust you?

Let's do the math..... Initiating a second EISP before the first is even completed?? (Last round of book is March). A Riff is more likely given that GTS had a RIFF just after the 1st round of volunteers were off book.

Just tell call center representatives they need to return to office. You’ll be able to shed more than 2500 that way. Those employees feel there entitled to sit home and make over $100k.
Why would you repeat something that your boss told you not to repeat? You’ve got a good nest egg I would go too. You’re lucky to have that you must be a long timer.. stop spreading what your boss told you in confidence.
