Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

RTO and Karen

So are we going to have to watch our back for Karens running to HR, if we pull down our mask for a minute at our seats to not breathe in our own carbon dioxide?

Those with assigned offices have an exception that they do not have to wear masks while in their offices. But the rest of us will have to wear them and we all know there will be people just itching to run to HR to complain if someone isn't wearing one perfectly for more than a fraction of a second.

I’m gonna have my RTO coordinator on speed dial. I will also roam the halls recording people at their desks with my phone. Best keep them masks up, or hasta la vista baby.

I’ll be the first Karen to turn you in to the dress code police

If masks work, why haven’t they worked? The size of the COVID virus compared to the size of the opening in the typical cloth or blue surgical masks is equivalent to trying to keep mosquitoes out of your yard by installing a chain link fence. Virtue signaling is all masking up accomplishes. Ok Karen’s, bring it.

I'd worry less about the carbon dioxide coming out of your mouth and more about the methane.

Very easy to make an open mesh weave mask. No carbon dioxide issues. They said you have to wear one, they did not say what it had to be made of. It can fit very loosely too. There are no mask standards except that you have to wear something. Have the mask open at the sides and with air holes by the nose.

This “Karen” will proudly report any re----k who hasn’t managed to figure out how to wear a mask properly in the past year and a half. I can smell you as soon as you enter the building.

The answer to your question is yes. There will be people who are just itching to run to HR to report you if you fail to wear your mask properly.

There is a way to spoil their fun though. Wear your mask properly.

I'll instantly report selfish, ignorant *erks who don't care about others lives, incl. their children.

If I hear a coworker express concern about another coworker not wearing a mask, I’m going to explain that I don’t even have the time to allocate one second of thought or energy to their issue. Wasting breath on that type of useless drama in no way helps our clients or drives revenue for the business.

How about because some of us were hired on years ago as full time work from home employees? We didn't have office jobs. Now we are expected to go into an office we have never been, sit at a random desk every day, despite having offices at home, and be forced to wear a mask.

If people have to wear a mask in the office, that is a big f**king red flag that people shouldn't be going into the office.

Why should you worry about being called out unless you already plan to break the rule? People like you do not deserve any breaks because you would not know when to stop.

I'm vaccinated and I won't be wearing my mask if I possibly can avoid it.

Listen, I have immunocompromised children so I’m calling HR, the ethics hotline, and if that doesn’t work I’m reporting to my municipality which has a mask mandate. #sorrynotsorry
