I was laid off from WF awhile ago but still like to peruse the board. It was 23 years of my life and it is kinda hard to "let go". Personally I was ready (and happy) to take the package as it became so toxic working there. I do miss my Tech/QA peeps tho so when I ran across this I thought of all you guys and had to laugh. This certainly would have been a great office discussion LOL <3

I was QA in SF office. I was laid off last year after working there for 10 years. It was hard, cuz u worked there for long time and made friends. I was able to get better paying job, but I do miss working there. Had blast in WF.

Apparently those people you consider not in demand knew more than you thought considering the dumpster fire CLT in particular is now as no one who is left there that actually know in business.
They tried the same thing at Chase and it bombed there too. Go figure.
I’m really sorry this is so sad. What a great career though. Be proud of yourself and that longevity of tenure. You will find a gig easily with those credentials.
Were you tech or QA? We had all of our QA (50+) laid off a year ago roughly. Devs they moved to other teams, apparently those are still in demand. I'm a dev, would happily take a package right now but am also looking outside.
This is a very sad post.
