Volunteer for Layoff

How can we volunteer to be RIFed? Speak with our manager or Human Resources? Anyone know?

“Already asked the question and was told the names were already set.” Really? Who told you that? I’m going to bet you’ve made it up.

@hgy+1tRSE8Sb Oh please! The “noble thing?” This post gets re- done at least once every 10-14 days. Do your job.

We volunteered to be laid off the day we accepted employment. Best to just resign and leave the keys on the nightstand.

Hey - I think you just submit a letter/email of resignation to your manager. Or if you could let your manager know you're quitting and let him know how soon/what kind of a notice. Good luck and please let me know if you have any questions.

Most of you poor SunTruist Teammates remaining just don’t get it. Sad!

Surviving the initial merger and making it until today is pretty much volunteering to be RIF'd. Just remember all volunteers are not chosen, and based upon the structure, workload and responsibility to those unriffed not to mention reduced benefits and RTO just so you can have Team meetings at a Truist location is akin to ki-ling lots of troops followed by the bayonetting of the survivors.

Already asked the question and was told the names were already set. Was trying to do the noble thing and save someone else, alas, it won't be happening.
