Yesterday, we participated in the overview and onboarding conference. All seem good, I have to say. I really love this company and don’t want to get chopped.
Are they going to chop the university program hires? If yes, how bad will it be?
Thank you!

Check you inbox, Nate Herman just sent an announcement out welcoming them, they got them cheap, I doubt they'll cut them.... but who knows what goes on in Herman's head.. hahahaa.. that was too easy.
Welcome to corporate America college grads. No one is safe, no one is loyal, and your jobs can disappear today
They typically do not (based on 2001 and 2009 experience)...
2020 is different but I still think you will be OK.
Also, there are pentalties that College Recruitment Centers impose on companies that rescind offers and cut college employees during first 12 months of employment - you may want to reach out to your school and see if they have any agreement or guidance on this...
It is sad what is happening to Wells Fargo because there are a lot of hard working individuals trying to provide great service to customers. Management has gotten rich off destroying the bank and in the process has destroyed a lot of lives. At the end of the day, they get to go back to their multi-million dollar mansions, while everyone else struggles to keep up with medical bills and everything else.
I have to agree with @grw, no one is safe! But keep in mind that they are still hiring executives, so you can rest comfortable knowing that someone making significantly more than you will be safe from this, since he is friends with Charlie Shart!
If the university program hire has any relative that is higher up at JPMorgan they will be safe.
No one is safe.
