This might be the first time in a long time that I don’t see an actual layoff conversation the Tuesday after a payday

If the lease is expiring in 2025, they will require at LEAST 6 months to decommission the building before fully exiting the building before the end of the lease. I’ve been down that road with a move several years back. My money would be the displacements are all in 2024 if the lease expires in 2025! Wishing those affected the best. Wish I could change it for you!
Makes sense, that's their only strategy for every issue.
Has there been any word as to when Wells Fargo remote workers will be laid off in Southern California? I heard it was soon.
Leaders visiting Salem & Hillsboro in Oregon today. Confirmed what we all knew, that OR is not a core market and there's an exit strategy (no details). We potentially have 1-3 years left, but I wouldn't be surprised if they offloaded us sooner than later (2024).
This "transparency" is a strategy to get more people to leave so they can save on severance. Stay put and cash out, if it makes sense!
Which building are you referring to? I know SP is toast...you mean BC, the tower, or Salem?
Yes, HR.
Trainers in Florida
?? There was a post earlier saying that there were layoffs today.
I call BS. Rumor has it that Barnhart will close 2024.
Wells sold 2 buildings in West des moines and took a nice loss.
In Oregon. Trainers. But they held a town hall and announced they are closing all Oregon sites. They say within 2 years but nobody trusts it. We haven't hired in a year and they laid off the trainers. How are they planning on keeping an almost empty building going for 2 years with no hiring. Makes no sense.
