I’m a field tech. I support physical devices, like the ones execs use to avoid WAVE. I can’t troubleshoot a device that I can’t get admin perms on.

I can't wait to be on a Major Incident and not getting Teams audio to work right.
While we are on the wave topic, anyone know why wave disabled my Bluetooth driver? Tech connect escalated my issue but 3 techs couldn't fix it. Now I just have to call in on my personal phone. Techs said wave installs are screwing everything up, including Bluetooth drivers.
BS. FTS has no admin rights on a user's wave device. In other words, when you remote to a user's wave vm, you can't do jack sh-t except help with a few things. There is no cosmic, no software center, no installing or removing apps, etc. Now, most fts techs can use their domain accounts to log into the wave console, but that's it. After that, it's a tix to engineering.

That's the idea. Look around, they've already gotten rid of some of your coworkers. Eventually, they want to displace every single one of you. To do that, they need an environment where you aren't needed. That's WAVE.
I would just read it and move on. I would not open the topic the next time it got bumped up to the top. Not that big of a deal to me. shrug. Same as i do with all the other meaningless threads out there.
I was a field tech until last month when they laid me off. Wave, neighborhood seating rto, India, sooner or later your job will toast as well.
Horizon Wave is the application that runs on your WF device or personal device. There are 2 other apps that run on devices that allow pass through and the connection the virtual machines. Kind of like citrix, per say.
Troubleshoot you say. Well, log out, wait 3 minutes, log back in. If it's still wonky, call TC (joy) and some might have the ability to restart your VM, if not, that's when fts gets involved and you wait and wait......

@bdn+1mse0SGg There’s no breakglass on WAVE. Even if there was, your fix would be blown away at the end of the session
