I wish unions would be more aggressive in getting Verizon retail stores on board. More then half of my store would vote Yes to a union.

Brainwashed union thugs seem to be stirring the p-t again. Some years ago I work in auto and was part of the UAW. I will never take a job that requires me to be part of a union ever again. Let's say the store I work at goes union. My first plan of action would be to A - ask for a transfer to a nonunion store B - quit and try to find another job, maybe even over at T-Mob. One thing is for sure, I will never work for a unionize location ever again as it's a shittttt-show!
Starbucks will just close the store. Unions just make Bidenflation go into overdrive. Retail jobs are skilless and a dime a dozen so unions really have nothing to work with there either.
@ghl+1edkcT85 That may happen but depending on a lot of factors it could be considered retaliation. If that were the case the employees could sue and make a boat load of money. It has happened a few times the last several years. Verizon did it but they were smart and allowed current leases to expire. With higher then normal starting wages at a lot of these locations this past year it’s no wonder employees are looking for some protection. When the job market flips there is no doubt there will be an initiative to get rid of higher paid employees at these entry level jobs. Unions make sense in a limited amount of situations ....this is definitely one of them.
That store is going to be shut down real soon.
It's crazy how brainwashed Americans are to be anti-union. Unionizing would be the best thing for the individual worker, any amount of time you're going to get anti-union trolls here
