@1pyc I live in America's Finest City, no way I want to move anywhere lesser for this company. I've been to all the hub cities, each one is a significant downgrade. Which is exactly what the bank wants since they can pay you less to live there.

Because they currently live in an S-ho-e. I was extremely happy to move to a hub, and paid out of pocket to do so. Very greatful for the opportunity. There are some truly horrible places to live in this country, and I lived in one of the worst. If you already live in a great place, then relocation probably doesn't sound that attractive, but for a lot of people it's a great move.

I just accepted an internal job and was told I would need to move; no relo offered and no set date to move by, just was in the offer that I was required to move when told and I agreed to do so. I’m ok with it as I’ll move to a location I could find other work in if needed.

Based on Charlie's Town Hall, you have to be in a hub to advance in your career. I bet you will have to pay to relocate yourself, unless you're lucky to be one of the chosen few they want to keep.

In all three talk about hubs and relocation, nobody has talked about the elephant in the room...

Forced relocation: company sponsored, or out of your own pocket??

I'm so over the relo strategy and hub city thing. It's boring. I know it's stressful. It is for me too. I'm not living here-nor-there right now because I'm waiting for my leadership to make a decision and communicate it to us. So I'm in no man's land. I think I'm just getting used to it now .. sigh.
