Is the treasury / payments platform getting any better?
Why are people and clients leaving? Culture? Inability to meet client needs?

‘Wholesale payments’. Which genius picked that name. It’s sounds like Dollar General payments, Low value. Based on the results, Truist picked the current management team from the wholesale management hiring agency.
Man…..this weed is….(cough)…it’s strong
Not a fan of Ward. He comes across as a politician and is disingenuous towards the rank and file in Enterprise Payments. Love how Lesher was over his annoying Waffle House commentary in the Town Hall last week
No way Ward has time to oversee anything. Appears all he does is travel the East coast bringing purpose to anybody and everybody. He especially touts women in banking and other businesses. Nothing wrong with that but his purpose should be fixing the payment products internally not being another shill for the bank. So much waste in leadership while worker bees have been let go in droves while the good folks have been and are being snatched up by other banks.
Bet none of you thought you would miss Bryce and that spiked head.
You “Teammates” must not be very smart. Bill and Mike have brought in some really talented people to run payments, Ward, Buchanan, Russ, Noe and I’m sure I missed some and there’s no way they haven’t fixed this area. You “Teammates” just aren’t smart enough to use the system’s they’ve put in place. Don’t you dare insinuate they haven’t fixed this area. It is perfect!
Those leading Wholesale Payments are incompetent. They’ve had plenty of time to get things right and it’s still a sh&t show.
@flh+1rSOJTvl Agree. Am also in CCB. Often deal with Treasury/Wholesale Payments and "no one cares to fix the problems" really hit home for me.
I can’t speak for all segments but I am on the commercial side. Nothing is getting better. If anything, it is getting worse. You have incompetent leaders, inconsistency of expectations, and no one cares to fix the problems. Talent is leaving for better opportunities. I have never seen morale worse than here.
