The writing’s on the wall with AI. Your skills are getting more obsolete every day and so many are doing nothing about it. I've been spending 90 percent of my free time for the past year learning new skills and now I have options. If I'm hit in the next round, I know I'll be fine. I'm not so sure for some of you.

Defense network computers. New... powerful... hooked into everything, trusted to run it all. They say it got smart, a new order of intelligence. Then it saw all people as a threat, not just the ones on the other side. Decided our fate in a microsecond: extermination.
AI didn't make me a mil in investing in great companies. I did it on my own and made that money and left Oracle.
Stop worrying about AI. Keep working, keep learning, keep growing, step away from that godforsaken desk, go outside, smell the air, the trees, go to the ocean.....all this focusing on work....you're gone in 40-50 years. Enjoy your life. All of what I said is free to do, so dont act like you need money to go for a walk in a park.
If I am hit in the next round, I know I'll be OK, because I've got friends in low places.
If you actually worked with and studied AI like you claim to do you'd know how massively over rated it is by CEO and investors and how it's not actually the reason for job cuts.
But you clearly don't. You probably just generate silly little memes and that blows your mind and you buy into all the hype.
