Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Vaccination Requirement

Just last week we were told that vaccinations will not be required at this time. Yesterday, when attempting to book travel through Concur, it informed team members that the vaccination was required in order to book hotel (flights and rental cars included). In order to move forward with the booking, one has to attest to the fact they've been vaccinated. If a WF employee is not vaccinated, he/she is no longer able to travel for their job. This totally contradicts what was said just last week on the corporate call.

You will take it and you "will" like it. Else be prepared to be ostracized as you will not be allowed to walk amongst those with the mark.

The key words being “at this time”

Today the mandate from DC got a hard date — Jan 4.

This is only going one way.

Like it or not, the deadline is January 4:

https://www.cnn.com/2021/11/04/politics/vaccine-rule-large-employers-federal-contractors-health-care-workers/index.html

I haven't read the full requirements and wonder if it only applies to onsite employees and not remote workers.

Wrong on all counts.

And most of the red traitors didn't bring g-ns and STILL attempted a coup, because they knew what would happen if they all showed up armed. But they are imbeciles and figured they could overrun the staff there - along with a few traitorous cops who assisted them. Hopefully the hammer comes down on them hard, after all of the investigations and trials are over. Antifa is a boogeyman. BLM is a valid organization but is a social justice organization, not a political party. Protesting police brutality only to be met with more brutality understandably made people upset. Add to that the people pretending to be related to that group that were actually paramilitary, far right boogaloo, or just outright race-baiting like the white man in Minnesota who set the fires and was convicted for it. We had the leader of the imbeciles running things and his racist associates were lashing out. I estimate their reactions will get worse and worse as they lose more and more of their power in years to come, as there is no future for their party. We may see attacks on shipping, attacks on green infrastructure, attacks on other races, and loss of innocent lives, because they want to return to a society where they had all of the power and could - often violently - keep others in check. They pretend to be all high and mighty-but like the religious views they often display- its all for show.

And they aren't the most armed-by far. Someone's been devouring those far right NRA/Russia talking points again!

You like making assumptions, and it's not working out for you. There was one coup attempt in 2020, and it was Antifa / BLM driven. Lasted 6 months, cities burned, weapons were brandished nightly, police stations stormed, sections of the United States carved out and leaving the Union, etc., and many died. Thankfully it failed.

If conservatives actually attempted a coup, they would have brought a couple hundred million g-ns with them, not signs. Think, for once. You're trying to sell the idea that the most heavily armed population in the history of the world tried to violently take over the country, but intentionally left all their weapons at home? That dog won't hunt son.

Colin Powell:
Was 84 - that is OLD, putting him at high risk for COVID complications
Had multiple myeloma, which compromised his immune system
Had Parkinson’s Disease, not something anyone wishes for
Was vaccinated, yet died from complications of COVID

I respected the heck out of the guy but he was pretty much a hot mess of high risks and health problems. But you miscreants think the vaccine is a fail because it didn’t make Powell 100% healthy with a lifespan of 110. Got it.

  1. fact: colin powell was 80, had cancer and died of complications due to covid while being high risk (the guy was high risk of dying with or without the vaccine)
  2. fact: being high risk of dying from covid due to other measures doesnt mean that the vaccine will save you it means it will try to alleviate the impact covid has one you not that it will save you
  3. fact: new varients of covid may or may not be mitigated with the current vaccine. (why do you think there are new flu shots every year, do you think varients have anything to do with it?)

@xsj+1dCMqPWn, 150 people in one car? Touch of sarcasm in that question, eh? Obviously the answer is no, but these employees do use their personal vehicles every single week day to visit multiple clients per day. Those multiple clients all have several employees that our own team members come in contact with. Our team members have been out there visiting multiple clients each day for numerous months now, without being mandated to be vaxxed and not a peep was said, nor any concern about the safety of our co-workers. So policy will be to require employees to be vaxxed if using hotel, flights and/or rental cars, but no need to be vaxxed as long as you're using your personal vehicle to visit multiple clients. How does that make sense? If the health and safety of our co-workers was priority, all travel, including those utilizing personal vehicles, would have the vax requirement.

@rjw+1dCMqPWn who told you those things?

Maybe you're getting those famous "alternative facts".

The masks on/off thing was always about compromising so businesses could work.

The advice was always wash your hands, wear a mask, avoid large gatherings, and get your shots.

Wearing a mask, for the millionth time, is to protec other people from you if you have covid.

It gives you some protection, but it's mainly to keep you from spewing your cooties to other people.

Seriously, there's too much misinformation and lies in your post to cover in one lifetime.

Why are you spreading this nonsense? You don't want America to get back to normal?

This site is useless these days.

@ddu+1dCMqPWn, if you recall back in the beginning of this, we were told that if you got the vaccination, you would not get covid. We were also told that if you already had covid, there was no need to get the vaccination. Masks, no masks, shots needed, no shots needed, multiple shots, boosters, now you can still get covid even if you're vaxxed, etc. Stay 6 feet apart, wear mask into restaurant but can take off when you sit down and then touch everything that was possibly prepared by someone unvaxxed and maskless. Masks on airplanes but you can remove it if you're eating/drinking while someone is sitting right next to you, literally touching shoulders. God forbid you need to go to the bathroom in a public place.
Wear that mask to protect yourself and make sure you're vaxxed while your bottom comes in contact with a toilet used by countless others. Nothing, and I mean nothing makes sense. And I won't even start on the subject of all of us having the jab pushed on us, yet anyone coming over the border illegally is not required to have it. Though if approved, they'll also be handed a couple hundred grand for free.

To the caps lock challenged person who posted....

VACCINES DO NOT GIVE YOU IMMUNITY. THE FLU SHOT DOESN'T MAKE YOU IMMUNE TO THE FLU JUST AS THE COVID SHOT DOESN'T MAKE YOU IMMUNE TO COVID.

No kidding. The vaccine teaches your body how to fight the virus so you don't end up intubated.

It's not a magic Star Trek force field.

Driving in a rental car alone is a heck of a lot safer than sitting in an office with a bunch of people for 8 hours. Flights/airports, ok, maybe a tiny bit of elevated risk for some people, but if sitting in a car but yourself is to much liability/risk, how can RTO not be also?!

There's no such thing as "right or left", just up/down with tyranny at the bottom and individual liberty at the top. For the pleeb, there's no significant difference between communist dictatorship and fascist dictatorship. The marketing campaign is different, that's it. Bottom line, centralized power that controls everything, including you.

In any case, thanks for proving my point. "strong regimentation of society and of the economy". Who's trying to do that again?

If it provides immunity, then mandates serve no purpose. You're completely safe, and so is everyone else that gets vaccinated. Ok, cool, but you get one or the other, not both.

How very fascist of you. This is not a business driven move, it's government controlling business...which is literally how fascism works. A dear leader dictating what businesses must do. If that's you're position, that's cool, just so we all know where you're coming from and where you're trying to go.

Also, you're lying. The real statement is "jab or we ki-l you". That's where it ends. Take their jobs, take their businesses, take their kids, and next thing you know you're taking their gold teeth. Demonize, marginalize, divide/conquer, and then deliver the final blow.

So your opinion is that every dr-g every made has the same merits, and if you take one, you should want to take them all? Is that it? Believe it or not, it's possible to take one dr-g but not another based on your own risk/reward analysis. If your world view says that aspirin and crack are "all the same", that's cool, just not how I roll.
