I know it didn't have to be Monday, but I talked to two of them and they say they don't plan to show up at all this week. I feel like I made a huge mistake by going in. I thought people were exaggerating and posturing when they said they have no plans to go in, but I see now that at least some of them were serious. I'm not sure if I can stop going now that my manager has already seen me in the office.

Went into on of the charlotte buildings and place was dead as a door nail. The whole old vibe is gone. If this keeps up they will need to threaten people to RTO

If there is one thing this website has shown me through this whole process, is that there appears to be plenty of distasteful, frightened people that work at wf. (if some of the commenters are actually employees).
I decided to go in today (Tues) and expected most everyone else would be too...I was completely wrong. There were about 30 people max on a floor that was supposed to be at capacity with 200-300. I will not be going in again...it was a complete waste.
Quiet and awkward, pretty much what you'd expect. Only thing weird was the unusually heavy contract security presence. Must be anticipating some chaos which, frankly, isn't outside the realm in this situation. If there's one thing COVID has taught us it's that some people like to as----t other people because reasons.

The office is pure distraction. 100% unnecessary, and 100% a waste of time, resources, energy, and money. I went in yesterday and lost nearly my entire day’s productivity. I stayed home today and I am almost all done with yesterdays missed work after 3 hours, that’s how much faster it is for my support job when working from home.
Don’t go back in. “Boss, there are too many distractions at the office.”
In the office today - there are < 15 people on the floor. Parking lot was mostly empty.
Went in. 95%+ unmasked- I don't sense anyone was checking for masking of non vaccinated. It seems likely more than 5% are probably not vaccinated. Doesn't give a good comfort level to anyone with high risk family members or small kids not yet eligible for vaccine.
I am ‘required’ to go in but did not and will not. I’ve said the same thing to the team I manage. I am not keeping track, and do not care if they do. It might make the people they work with few more comfortable having someone there in person, but their productivity has been sky high working remotely and I cannot afford those numbers to dip back down again.
Monday is a low volume day. Get back to me later today.
The ones in my group that did show up, all unmasked and unvaxed. Every location only had a few people there. Most missed meetings based on traffic and or time spent setting up equipment they had to drag in. Complete success
I’m not bluffing. If you can stay home, do so!
I am required to go in, so can't afford to be rebellious for comfort.

Since we are “required” to go in, I don’t know what difference it makes that your manager saw you. I’m grateful for your teammates sticking at home. I know that not everyone can risk termination but the more of us that do, the better.
