Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Chase was not this bad before

What happened? It was a decent place to work for years and then suddenly it completely changed. Now it feels like it's in a competition for the most toxic work environment and culture, along with managers. I can't help but think it's strange how things changed so much so quickly.

How "lucky" for Chase that you braved it out, received paychecks and had such a phenomenal attitude towards your coworkers. Smh

Chase was always a stressful and toxic environment to work in, but somewhat tolerable. Now the toxicity has become worse. Blame the poor management, managers (or mis-management) and the disorganized way Chase is run. When my old company transitioned into Chase, some years ago, I nearly ran out the door when I physically had to work face to face with the Chase employees and had to transition into the chase way of working, but I braved it out and survived the toxic B S for decades.

People need to give some context. When you say "Chase" it encompasses dozens of different departments and thousands and thousands of employees. At least indicate what line of business you are in.
