I know it's popular to say these days that layoffs are a blessing and similar cr-p because Nike is bad and whatnot, but I can't. I like my job. That's why I spend so much time here. I enjoy what I do and I want to keep doing it. I wish all the people who are hoping to be laid off would get their wish so those of us who want to be here can stay.

@apd+1qqliR2p I haven't looked for work yet. I decided to take a little time off before jumping back in. I will be starting my search for a new job soon. The job market is supposed to be tough at this time. I wish us all good luck!
Agree. I have a bad vibe this time in my area as we’ve grown too much. If I make this round, I will be grateful.
@eui+1qqliR2p You find a job yet? Real concerned about the job market RN
There’s a very good chance that you’ll be fine. Nike is a massive company and we’re talking maybe 1500 people globally. I know it’s tough but try not to stress it too much.
Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. I was laid off a few months ago, along with many others...the work was outsourced to India. I enjoyed my work and was great at it and always got very good CFE's and feedback. I didn't think it would happen to me or my team, but it did.
I really thought I would feel sad once it sank it. I never did. Instead I finally realized how overworked my team was. That said, I hold no hard feelings and trust that something good will come of it.
Whatever the outcome, hang in there. It will be tough for the people who don't get laid off also, as they need to pick up the pieces of those who are let go.
